Every Resistol® straw hat starts out in the hands of a skilled weaver. Depending on the complexity of the pattern, a single hat body can take anywhere from 1 – 3 days to complete.  Vented crowns with complex patterns take the longest to weave but have the added benfit of letting air flow through the crown to help you keep cool in the mid-day sun. The 20X Martel is the perfect example of their high quality work.
