Stainless steel “J” shaped hooks to attach to your horses’ bits. They are used to attach the curb chain to the bit and most often on bits with a shank and/or ported mouth pieces such as a Kimberwick, Pelham or many western bits. The hooks and chain create a band of pressure under the chin, encouraging the horse to give to the bit and flex at the poll.
